The project

Our intern class included two media specialists, an account manager, producer, videographer and designer (myself). We were partnered with a brand named Double Take Salsa and tasked with helping the brand build a promotional campaign. This included but was not limited to a suite of product photography and videography, brand guidelines, a media plan, a suite of social assets, and a website. Existing materials the brand had was the product packaging, fonts, logos and a color palette.

Art Direction

Double Take Salsa’s catchphrase is “flavor first, heat second” founder Bernie strives for excellence and only uses fresh flavor packed produce to create their heat packed salsas. For the photography and videos we wanted to ensure that the products were front and center for brand recognition while surrounded by fresh produce for color and flavor appeal.

social assets

Double Take Salsa needed an assortment of Facebook images and promotional videos to get them started. Below you will see product focused, recipe and seasonal assets I created.

Site Layout

Created with Squarespace the Double Take Salsa brand wanted a streamlined site that helped tell their story and gave them the ability to sell their products. See the homepage below.
